Dr. John Stibravy taught at Edison State Community College, West Point Prep, USAF Academy, and USAF Institute of Technology. He was a fencing athletic coach at West Point Prep. He’s a graduate of Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia, where he hosted the Saturday night rock show on WCDE. He later earned an M.A. in Fiction Writing, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration. He served in the Air Force for 20 years, plus 14 years as an Army civilian. His favorite works include "Hamlet," "Full Metal Jacket," and “Little Red Riding Hood.” He had an out of body experience during a private plane crash, and met an angel at Port Authority Bus Terminal. He’s the author of "Aortic Heart Valve Replacement: Through the Dark Curtain;" "I Was DEAD! Cardiac Arrest and My Journey Back to the Living;" "The Last Pretty Lake in New Jersey: Cedar Lake;" "Cardiac Arrest: Facts for Every American;" "World War I (56th Engineers) and Great Depression Letters of Ralph W. Green;" and "Dayton Steam: 1983 – 1992."
