"Nebeker," John's preferred moniker (pronounced "Neh-Beh-Kur"), was born and raised in Sandy, Utah in a very loving and busy home. His parents raised seven children besides serving faithfully in their local church and community. Nebeker's father established Nebeker Financial Services Inc. in 1983 and built an industry-wide reputation for success, integrity, and creative problem-solving. After graduating with a degree in French and Business Management from Brigham Young University in 2004, Nebeker joined his father's office right out of college. Nebeker says he didn’t know it at the time, but joining his father in his business would prove to be one of the most important decisions of his life. There, he experienced first-hand the financial and relationship dynamics of participating in a family business, and meeting the needs of families and businesses would eventually become his main preoccupation. Nebeker has earned multiple post-graduate degrees and exceptional professionalism awards in the financial services industry throughout his career. His focus has always been on serving others' needs first. He discovered the Family Bank system in 2018 and spent several years researching and helping clients implement Family Banks while writing The Family Bank: The Key to Generational Wealth from 2020 to 2022. Nebeker's personal and business motto is to “overpay, overdeliver, and overserve.” Nebeker met his wife on a blind date in Washington DC in 2012, and they were married in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2013.
