Jody Rawley writes educational fiction for all ages. Three of his Kindle books are in the Young Adult category (with teen characters or themes, incorporating information that reaches adult and even graduate studies levels). His published books include a cozy mystery series, a science fiction collection, a juvenile time travel story, a short comedy, and a book containing five stories in a genre that he created: radio control aviation adventure fiction. Currently in the works are a graphic novel about ants (teaching biology and politics), an African safari novel (teaching biology, history, geography, and Swahili), and an historical-fiction epic set in the US and Brazil. He expects that list will keep him busy for the next half-dozen years. He holds degrees in theology, philosophy, and communications, and he studied political science for four years. What he learns in formal classes (summer and professional studies as diverse as medicine, and literature), along with what he learns on his own (language lessons, general science, flying, filmmaking), and what he picks up in eclectic hobby reading (history, travel, and sociology), enriches his writing. He loves to learn and to teach. He lives in Richmond, VA and divides his time between several Southern states.
