Joanna van der Hoeven has been writing fiction since her humble beginnings at the age of thirteen. She now has a new fiction series called Witches of the New Forest, and is living her life-long dream. As well as her fiction, Joanna van der Hoeven has written nine non-fiction books. She is the author of the best-selling books, The Book of Hedge Druidry: A Complete Guide for the Solitary Seeker, and the introductory work, The Awen Alone: Walking the Path of the Solitary Druid. Alongside her writing, Joanna has been working in Pagan traditions for over 30 years. She is a teacher, blogger, photographer and videographer. Her love of nature and the land where she lives provides her with constant inspiration. She was born in Quebec, Canada and now lives near the sea in Suffolk, England.
