Jo Lisa has been an avid reader since she was five and a teacher said she wasn't a good reader. Reading books nearly every day since then gave her an instinct for writing that comes naturally. Her goal is to always bless the reader with an enjoyable, engaging and heartfelt book that does more than your average book but instead changes who they are for the good. As a strong Christian, Jo Lisa credits all of her writing talent to God and His leading and guiding throughout the writing process. Jo Lisa's heart is to encourage readers to a better place and a closer walk with God. Jo Lisa's favorite activity, in addition to reading and writing, is floating on the river or lake and enjoying the sunshine. Gardening is also on the list of must have activities on a daily basis. Jo Lisa has been a development professional for many years. After a successful career raising funds for a pregnancy resource center, she now is on the team at a non-profit organization that works to end child sex trafficking and bring hope to survivors.
