Jim Wetton is the author of "The Monroe Family Series" a series about a multiple generational family enduring the hardships and challenges that came with the evolution of this great republic called The United States. Beginning in 1770 with "JACOB: The Monroe Legacy Begins", the Monroe family endures love, the heartaches of death and the challenges that come with the making of a great country. History based, yet emotional in its development, the Monroe Series is much more than history, it is love, marriage, growing up and a plethora of endurance. This family, with its foundation of "Faith and Family" will bring a tear to the eye while warmth to the heart. The fiction is in the characters, yet the history is in the moments. Jim is currently working on his fourth book in the Monroe Family Series called" Teddy Jr." Teddy Jr. is the sixth generation of the Monroe family. His story begins in 1931 and ends in 1945. Jacob's offspring’s come to life as you follow them as they survive the Great Depression only to be torn apart throughout the heart-breaking years of WWII. How strong is the bond between two brothers? How true are the words etched in the soul of the family's patriarch? What started in a deep and dark place which smelled of mold may very well be the beginning and the end of Teddy Jr. and the demise of Jacob Monroe's legacy of Faith and Family. Jim has been married for 42 years to his beautiful bride, Darlene. He is blessed with his children: Melanie and her husband Shane, and Dustin and his wife Nikki. He has five adorable grandchildren: Sophia, Taylor, Tristan, Penelope and Grace. Jim’s earlier book, Not in Charge . . Anymore, was published in 2014. A book on spiritual and faith-based style of leadership within a secular world.
