Jeremy Lesniak is a lifelong martial artist, with black belts in karate, taekwondo, and kickboxing. The founder of whistlekick Martial Arts Sparring Gear & Apparel, and also the host of the critically-acclaimed podcast, Martial Arts Radio, Jeremy has made martial arts his life. Jeremy started his martial arts training in karate at the age of four. In response to those first couple of years, his original instructors swore they'd never teach anyone under six again! Those years and the subsequent ones were formative as he moved around New England, training with, competing against, and meeting some of the best in the country. He did a short 2-year stint with his own karate school before resuming under others. Jeremy Lesniak's writing style is akin to how he speaks and has been called very personable and easy to read. He strives to impart knowledge through his writing but knows that if it's too boring to read, no one's getting anything out of it.
