Jere Silber is an accomplished writer, producer, and director with an impressive portfolio in cable television. An award-winning camera operator, he is best known for his work on "News Counterpoint." In 1999, Jere received a Monty Award for writing, producing, and directing a video inspired by his debut children's book, "Tree Story". The audiobook version of “Tree Story” was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Spoken Word category. In 2001, he earned his second Monty Award for producing "Mister Word Wizard," a children's television show starring Richie Havens. Jere continued to enrich his literary repertoire with "Up in the Sky," published in 2014 to celebrate the birth of his first granddaughter, Skylar.
