Jenny Ahmed was born in Far Rockaway, NY and raised in the south. After a career as an ICU/ER nurse, law, and writing, she returned home to Brooklyn. Now Jenny lives upstate in an old historical home on Lake Champlain. In addition to her huge family, she is also the mother a plethora of animals. Writing was always in Jenny's blood and for many years worked as a writer and copywriter. She grew up on a farm in the south and the only friends she had was her imagination and three horses. Right now Jenny has several more books coming out. She noticed that women are often not represented in certain topics. As an avid prepper, there was very little real knowledge geared to women, who are not only mothers but heads of households. Her next book that will be coming out, "The Tough Mama's Mean Business," is a book geared to women who want to open their own business and become financially independent. Jenny and her husband, Iftikhar, have several businesses together, many children and grandchildren. Some of Jenny's weird hobbies are quilting, painting, gardening, teaching English to Chinese students, and traveling. Hands down, Jenny's favorite place in the world is sitting in the Old Town of Prague, watching the Astronomical Clock and sipping on Grog. She loves collecting Moser glass and Matryoshka dolls.
