I was born and raised in Berwick, Maine, a quiet child with an overactive imagination. Until my early twenties, I wanted to be an elementary school teacher, but when I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2001, I instead went on to pursue a legal education. In 2004, I graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Cum Laude, where I served as a staff writer and citation editor for Law Review. Since graduating from law school, I've has worked for five years in the legal industry, a few in civil litigation, and the last three plus years in software licensing. I've always dreamed of writing novels, and actually started writing two or three while still in law school (which fizzled out rather unceremoniously). The past four years however, I've really dedicated myself to finishing stories. I've written freelance sports articles, full length fiction, short stories, and finally, a pulp novel, Jagger - Time Served, that made it to publication. It is based on James Jagger, a unique hero with various life ingredients that heroes aren't exactly known for: a criminal record, panic disorder, dishonorable discharge from the military, and a tremendous streak of bad luck and self doubt. The novel was released April 9, 2009 and is available at Amazon.com and other distributors. It has been received quite well thus far, and I thank everyone for their support, and hope the rest of you will check it out. I am currently working on my second novel, tentatively entitled Doleo, about Ryder Daniels, a prosecutor and victim's advocate from Boston with a unique, dangerous, but empowering genetic disorder that leads him to recklessly risk life and limb to protect the world he's created for himself.
