James (Jim) Meyer was born and raised in Northeast Wisconsin, the only child of Ralph and Lorraine Meyer. He has always loved to touch lives through the written word. In 2015, he published the first book in the God Knew series, Revelations of God's Grace in Unexpected Ways. His devotions have also been featured in the LCMS devotional, Portals of Prayer. A banker by trade and a child of God with his Shepherd's heart, Meyer is in the world, but not of it. His writing is real, authentic, and transparent. In 2018, he married the love of his life, Linda -- the long-awaited answer to many prayers. In August 2023, Jim and Linda co-authored and published the second book in the God Knew series, Faithfulness Fulfilled. They reside in Shawano and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
