My name is Jake Tannehill and I live in Kansas with my wonderful wife and two children. I attended Emporia State University where I studied English Literature. It is there I met my wife, Sharon, and also joined the Kansas Epsilon Chapter of Phi Delta Theta. In 2013, my wife and I left Emporia and moved down to Wichita, KS. I was hired on at the Sheriff's Office where I now study Criminal Justice at Central Christian College in McPherson, KS. I enjoy writing short stories, plays, and poetry. In 2001, my parents took me to the theatres to see Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and I forever became a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium. Over the years, I've become more focused on writing high fantasy and studying Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and George R.R. Martin. It is my dream to one day publish a series of short stories based around a story of fantasy fiction. Thank you for reading these words!
