Jay Warner Collins is a fifty-eight year old professional musician living in the Rocky Mountains with his wife Sherry, and can often be found playing his guitar in the Waterton Lakes National Park. Writing westerns, as well as historical and commercial fiction, is Jay's way of connecting to a creative aspect of himself that constantly needs feeding. Gritty, authentic western movies and the books of Elmore Leonard have been his passion since he was a boy, and he is also an avid horseman and shooter of the guns of the old west. This gives him a realistic approach to the way things really were back in those times. His attention to detail is unsurpassed, and the realism of his own experiences comes through in his books. When not writing you can usually find Jay collecting awards for his contribution to the local film industry, or lecturing on Quantum Physics, and Commonlaw Judicial Statutes.
