A lifelong lover of fantasy, comedy, and animation, J.V. Simms enjoys writing stories about unique people with unique perspectives having a blast doing what they love. Before he began his career as a full-time writer, J.V. had a wide variety of jobs, from being a line cook, to road construction, and even being an afterschool councilor; his recent activities include getting crushed at video games by his nephew, failing to master the art of Jiujitsu, and retreating from an advancing spider. He’s currently hard at work completing his Empress trilogy and hopes others have as much fun reading it as he had writing it.
