Huck Warwicks is a pen name. You probably already know that. I chose it because I write Middle-Grade Fantasy as well, and did not want to bring the dark elements of Henry Halfmoon, and the family of Fringe Mythology stories to an age group that is still beautiful, innocent, and deserving of clean, safe adventures. Huck was the name of my favorite literary character as I was growing up (Thank you Samuel Clemens). "War" denotes action, violence, struggle and strategy. "Wicks" conveys my love of magic, wizards, the unknown, and the dark side in every man's psyche. I live in Nashville, TN and spend most of my time daydreaming, sipping bourbon, plotting the take over of the world with my friends, and lounging in my Tiki-themed mancave. I have a dog, but she doesn't know I'm a writer. And my wife and kids have no idea that I'm secretly not a pulizter-prize winning writer, just pretending to be a pretty darn good one. Minus the prize. I see ghosts, too. So that's fantastic. I think it may just be astigmatism, but ghosts sounds more interesting, and would be way cooler.
