Holly Willowbrook is drawn to magical places. She’s lived in a geodesic dome home in the Sierra Nevada foothills and a 140-year-old folk Victorian on the California coast. The historic towns and breathtaking natural beauty of the Lost Coast area of northern California were the inspiration for the fictional town of Greenvale. Holly currently resides in the driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin. It’s a place that the ice age glaciers missed, leaving a magical landscape of winding rivers, green coulees, craggy bluffs, and lush forests. Holly has been writing professionally for more than 25 years. She’s worked as a newspaper feature writer and humor columnist, a magazine writer and editor, commercial scriptwriter, and a marketing copywriter.
