Holly Spofford, a native Philadelphian, enjoyed a very successful twenty-five year career as a teacher and a coach. In 2014, she shifted gears to realize her childhood dream of becoming an author, specifically of crime fiction. She combined her love of the game of golf and her skill at story-telling in her first novel – A Letter for Hoot. Her second novel, Hot Ice, Cold Blood is a thrilling sequel to Hoot. Her third novel, The Even Game is the hair raising final novel of The Taylor-Tyson: A Decade of Danger trilogy. Her fourth novel is the very popular, intriguing, and thought provoking Snap Decision. Her readers had been begging her for a fifth novel; she listened and delivered. Out of Mind, an action packed story of resilience and human nature at its worst and best, was published in early September. She and her husband John reside outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
