I started writing years ago, too afraid to let anyone see the things that went on in my brain, and afraid of people critiquing. Fast forward several years and I received what most people would take as a gut punch, two of my three kids were diagnosed with needs that required me to become a stay at home mom, my oldest with autism, and my middle one with ADHD. After a year of people looking at me funny when one of them had a meltdown over nothing I took the stares in stride and decided to allow my husband of 15+ years read one of my writings. Then I met a friend who I got up the courage to ask to read my work. They gave me positive reviews and an encouraging push that I really needed. I enjoy writing romance, listening to music, and playing one of my multiple instruments, and of course spending time with my family.
