Guy Laron is a senior lecturer at the international relations department, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the author of two books: "the Six Day War" and "Origins of the Suez Crisis." His op-eds and stories have appeared in the Nation, the Guardian, History Today, Le Monde Diplomatique, War on the Rocks, Jacobin, Catalyst, the Hill, American Prospect, and American Affairs. He was a visiting assistant professor at Northwestern University and a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford and the Wilson Center in Washington, DC. Usually, he does not write about himself in the third person.
