Gregory Q. Cheek is a peak performance and resiliency coach, author, college professor, and owner of Greg Cheek Speaks LLC. Greg was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Departing for the United States Air Force at eighteen years old, he has traveled the world ever since. Greg’s experience and survival of stage III cancer is part of what inspired him to start his business, teaching, and speaking career. The focuses of his teaching are achieving peak performance and resiliency, overcoming obstacles such as illness, and the Three Points of Contacts and his 12.5 Ways of Success. Greg is a combat veteran who served six years in the US Air Force and sixteen years as a commissioned officer in the US Army. He served in leadership roles in the First Infantry Division, Ft. Riley, Kansas, Second Infantry Division, Korea, and Fourth Infantry Division, Ft. Carson, Colorado, and as a General Officer Aide de Camp during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Greg holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication from the University of Northern Colorado. He is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and the Master Resiliency Training (MRT) at the University of Pennsylvania. Greg has taught over a hundred and fifty college communication courses around the world and served on faculty at the US Army Combined Armed Services Staff College (CAS3), US Army Command and General Staff College, US Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDD), and many others, including universities in Germany and South Korea. Greg’s passions consist of helping people achieve their performance goals, improving communication skills, and travel. Greg has motivated audiences in over twenty countries.
