Greg Meritt is the youngest of three children. He was born in Everett, Washington and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. He has been a restaurant manager, a landscaper, a purchasing agent, and salesman. The Adoption is his debut novel and, at the request of readers, he is currently working on the sequel, which is slated for publication in the spring of 2023. He currently lives in Washington state with his wife, three adopted children and Harley, their golden retriever.
