For much of the past 38 years I've worked in & around death. As a seasoned funeral director I've witnessed the worst circumstances. As a Certified Financial Planner I've coached clients to reduce risk & helped them realize the financial impact a premature death would cause. As a Certified Executor Advisor & account manager for a prestigious funeral industry marketing firm, I've had many conversations with financial advisors, lawyers, accountants, clergy & the public about death. After studying the death awareness movement for decades, I decided to write a book to help more people plan properly. Only about half the adult population of Canada & the U.S. have a current & valid will. I took the advice of a Canadian Dragon & recruited over 25 people from my target market to provide feedback as I wrote my book. Although it took a long time, the result is rather impressive. My marketing plan is laser focused toward radio & podcast interviews across Canada & the U.S. As my coach & mentor stresses, it is the authentic passion of the author's voice which compels listeners to buy their book. I believe I have an interesting story to tell & it certainly relates to us all.
