Gloria Marlow grew up on the creek where generations of her family worked as commercial fishermen in Northeast Florida. Her husband proposed to her on that creek and they raised their three children steps away from it. She grew up with her heart firmly planted in the soil and saltwater and her nose firmly planted in a book. It seems only natural that the little girl who loved books grew into the schoolgirl who begged for writing assignments and read nearly every biography in her elementary school library, before becoming the teenage girl who devoured romance novels like candy and dreamed of writing one of her own someday. Having done just that while her children were young, Gloria continues to write stories of love in the face of danger, hope in the face of despair, and happily ever after. She lives with her husband of 36 years and a very spoiled dachshund, works as a paralegal at a local law firm, and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
