Gerald Ratigan is a CMA, CPA (Texas), CSCA, CPIM, and CHIA. He is founder of Chief Accounting Services LLC and was formerly a CAO at a global payments company publicly traded in the U.S. While working for numerous Blue Chip Global Organizations, he has acquired significant leadership experience in external audit, internal audit, financial reporting, controllership and corporate finance. He has led the Accounting and Financial Reporting departments at three different public companies. Currently, he holds leadership positions in local and regional chapters of the Institute of Management Accountants and is a member of its Speaker’s Bureau and Campus Influencer Program. He founded the South Florida Professional Chapter and University of Miami student chapter. In 2013, he was IMA’s Young Professional of the Year. He also serves as an Executive Advisor to the Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal Controls Professional Group. He has delivered numerous SOX, Corporate Governance and Ethical Leadership presentations to all levels of management including Board of Directors and at the IMA’s National Conference.
