Gary Adams served as UCLA's head baseball coach for 30 years, after playing at UCLA and also coaching at both UC Riverside and UC Irvine, taking the Irvine team to two World Series Championships. Gary maintained one of the highest graduation rates in all of college baseball, while putting more players in the "bigs" than all but one other coach of his time. His time spent with close friend the great John Wooden resulted in the book "Conversations With Coach Wooden", while the other books had their infancy over thirty years ago, but were burned up in a California wildfire, leaving only the original typed manuscripts available. Using those manuscripts, two already approved for publication, Gary and his wife of 32 years painstakingly rebuilt each one, and they are all now offered on Amazon as well as through other channels. Gary and Sandy both have authored between them eleven books, some fiction, others true life stories. Both have new books in the works. Names such as Chase Utley, Tim Leary, Troy Glaus, Torey Lovullo, Dave Schmidt, Ron Roenicke, Don Slaughter, Mike Gallego, Todd Zeile, Bill Hasselman, Ricj Amaral, Eric Garros, Eric Byrnes, and the new Dodger manager, Davie Roberts, are among the dozens who went from the teams of Gary Adams to the big leagues. Gary's inimitable writing style and gentle story-telling will intrigue any reader and enrich the minds of even the youngest readers. Books suitable for ages 4 to 90 available through amazon or on the Adams Family website.
