Fiona McDonnell is a business leader with more than 30 years’ experience with global companies including Amazon, Nike, Kellogg’s, McCormick and Kraft. A professional mentor and STEM Ambassador, she speaks regularly on the topic of careers and her work has featured in the media. She was voted Diversity Leader of the Year at the 2019 Tech Leaders Awards. Important alongside her work is the time she spends with her husband and two young boys, and keeping fit. Fiona takes a lot of her inspiration for writing and leading from all these moments. My Author Journey: In 2017 I gave a keynote speech on International Women's Day, taking lessons from my career and creating abstract metaphors to make it engaging and memorable. The session got great feedback and the concept turned into a development session. When the pandemic created turbulence in so many people's work worlds, I decided to put my stories and advice into writing. I hope they provide inspiration.
