Evan Kail is a Minnesota-born writer and social media influencer who currently resides in Minneapolis. He earned a bachelor's degree in Japanese studies from the University of Minnesota. He is passionate about martial arts and currently holds the rank of third-degree black belt in taekwondo, and first dan in kumdo. He is also a mixed-media artist and author of "'Ubered: My Life as a Rideshare Driver;" "Ubered 2;" and "Wolf in the Jungle." In 2019, Evan entered the gold and silver industry as an apprentice. He soon found massive success on TikTok and YouTube with his personality "Pawn Man," as well as an alternate personality telling dark-humor jokes. Evan left his apprenticeship in 2021 to start his own business, St. Louis Park Gold and Silver. He now spends all his time growing his social media presence and his business.
