I’m Eugene Matthews, a retired U.S. Army Warrant Officer and seasoned educator. As such I bring a wide range of experiences to my writing. I was born in Kansas, raised in Colorado, with assignments to Germany, South Korea, and several other U.S. States. I feel particularly fortunate to be Soldier For Life, as my sojourns helped develop my perspectives. Since earning my doctorate I’ve authored several law enforcement articles, delving into the realms of technology, leadership, and training, and more recently have focused on small Uncrewed Aerial Systems (sUAS). My goal is to help elevate drones more as a force multiplier (tool), rather than simply recreational product (toy). My commitment to education extends beyond the classroom to crafting online Analytic Investigation Training courses, Practical Research curriculum, and more. That said, I’m dedicated to staying current with the sUAS Drone industry and actively contribute to the Public Safety and Public Service Sectors with training and consulting.
