They have three children, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren whom they love very much. Elmer is the author of six books: The Power of Caring for Elementary Schools, The Bible and Phone Minute, Grandpa's Two Minute Bible Stories, and the recent 3-book series of Grandpa's Favorite Bible Stories for Boys and Girls. He has served in several capacities in our educational system including elementary teacher, principal, and college instructor.
