Ellie M. Jalbert lives in the wild of rural Northern Maine, far from both city and sea. She studied Psychology and Fine Art at the University of Maine in Presque Isle, as an undergraduate student. Afterward, she went on to earn a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since early childhood, Ellie has been writing short stories, novels, and works of non-fiction. In addition to winning various awards, she has been featured in multiple literary compilations and worked as a freelance journalist. Ellie has two active little boys, one cat, and handsome fiance. When not working at her dream day job as a therapist, Ellie enjoys creating words and art, having outdoor adventures, and attending as many concerts as she can jam into her schedule. Her series, Storm of Ages, is awaiting its fourth installment, Annihilation, due late 2019.
