Elizabeth Zelvin is the author of the Bruce Kohler Mysteries and the Jewish historical Mendoza Family Saga. She also writes urban fantasy mystery. Her latest entries on Kindle are two collections of short stories: DEATH WILL KEEP YOU SOBER: The Big Book of Bruce Kohler Short Mysteries and RACHEL IN THE HAREM: Mendoza Family Saga Short Mysteries. Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine has called her "one of our genre's most celebrated short story writers." Liz is also a poet. Her first book of poetry, I AM THE DAUGHTER (1981), is now available in a Kindle edition. GIFTS AND SECRETS (1999) and a book of new poems are coming soon. As Liz Zelvin, she is a singer-songwriter whose album is titled Outrageous Older Woman. Liz is also a psychotherapist and a pioneer of online mental health, a former Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa, a photographer, and grandma to two absolutely splendid granddaughters. Like Bruce and his friends, she’s a lifelong New Yorker. Unlike Bruce, she has never found a dead body.
