A native of Oklahoma, Elizabeth Brockie graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in English Literature. After graduating, she relocated to Southern California, became a college instructor, and began a career in writing. When not at her laptop, Elizabeth enjoys trying new foods with her husband, and spending time with their golden retriever, Summer, and Calico cat, Taffy. Taffy (who looks like burnt taffy) was a Halloween rescue, and the cat definitely has the temperment of a Halloween cat! She's got claws, and knows how to use 'em! Elizabeth's husband and two children are her best critics and loyal supporters of her writing. Elizabeth loves reading and writing romance, romance suspense, and especially paranormal romance. She's been fascinated with "things that go bump in the night" since she was twelve years old.
