Elda has been on both sides of infidelity. She understands the pain, anger, resentment, and emotional stress that stem from affairs, as well as the critical familial and financial issues as by-products. She emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, personal accountability, education, and growth as valuable tools for infidelity prevention. Healthy individuals help create healthy relationships. Her goal is to lay new groundwork for progressive thought and conscious action. A native of Southern California, she was born in Glendale, reared in Lincoln Heights until the age of two, and lived in Norwalk thereafter. She left home at seventeen, attended Rio Hondo College, studied at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and graduated from Whittier College with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. She has worked within the entertainment industry in various capacities: actress, stand-in, dialogue coach, voice-over artist, casting and has performed on stage, screen, and radio. She has also taught English in Japan and has tutored Language Arts in the underserved communities within Los Angeles and Orange County. She has volunteered for a variety of causes and has a special fondness for children's issues. Exploration is one of her joys. She has parasailed in Puerto Vallarta, zip-lined in Costa Rica, skied the Austrian Alps, swam with stingrays in Moorea, frolicked with dolphins in the Caymans, danced on stage with the Gipsy Kings, and hiked Machu Picchu. Her other pleasures are reading, dancing, music, assorted cinematic bingeing, reveling in humor, expanding her horizons externally and internally, and indulging in the darkest, most chocolatey gelato possible. Simple photography of the point, shoot, and crop variety is her latest hobby. She also loves, loves, loves flamenco. She currently resides in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.
