E. D. Evans is a lifelong poet. Part of the 1980/90s East Village art scene in NYC, Evans performed her poetry in the oral tradition at venues such as The Nuyorican Poets Café, Brownies, and The Knitting Factory. After a long hiatus from performing due to, well, life, she currently features her spoken word on social media, and is collaborating with an array of visual artists and musicians to bring her words to life. Evans currently lives in Tucson, Arizona with parrots, a blind cat, lots of lizards, and a madly talented multi-instrumentalist.
