A Professor, Doc teaches university graduate classes in psychology and counseling. She has received the Stephen Shank Teaching Award several times. Doc is an inspirational speaker and writer. She spreads messages of love and healing. Continuing her personal and spiritual journey, Doc teaches her professional students to practice unconditional love, especially for themselves. She advocates discovering and facing limiting beliefs. Then, limiting beliefs can die natural deaths and be replaced with health, wealth, love, happiness and . . . No matter what the problem, the answer is love. All answers are deep inside you. Doc teaches: “The simple fact that you exist guarantees you deserve the best life offers. You ARE enough.” Doc has enjoyed several long-term careers. She had/has careers as a Registered Nurse, Counselor, Psychologist, School Psychologist, Professor, Lecturer, and Author. She seldom works just one job. Doc and attorney husband, Neal, enjoy traveling & co-writing. They have support from family animals, Siamese Merlin, Tuxedo Heidi & Mighty-Mini-Mutt, Oso. Doc wrote MAKING MIRACLES: 1st I Cured My In-Curable Blindness, So Why the Hell AM I Still Fat? to spread healing around the world. She wrote Slip Away: 11 Escape Stories for enjoyment and escapism.
