I was born in Massachusetts, grew up in California, went to school in Texas and raised my children in Indiana and West Virginia. After college and graduate school I found time to be a Barbie fashion designer, legume manufacturer and intake manager, Lego architect and hot lunch lady. I work as a science teacher, torturing adolescents with the knowledge of how plants have sex, but I still find time to write in my own imaginary world. Actually it’s on a laptop in the laundry room, but it feels like a tropical island. Hiding in my laundry room, sorting, folding, fluffing, my mind tends to wander to a darker place... Sometimes the daily life, which don't get me wrong I appreciate breathing, but sometimes my adolescent self is disappointed at my middle-aged self for being so normal. I was sure I would move far away from home, perhaps live on a different continent and have a very different life than my parents. Yet, I'm still doing laundry, making dinner, cleaning bathrooms... Although I appreciate the simplicity and blessings of my life, let's face it, no one likes to clean toilets. So, when I have a moment I write about what I wish would happen, or what would happen if... I hope you enjoy my writings, they are meant to be a pleasant way to pass your free time.
