Dorothy Bodoin is a Michigan author who has combined her love of collies and mysteries to create the Foxglove Corners Cozy Mystery series published by Wings ePress. Dorothy worked for two years in southern Italy for Chrysler Missile Corporation and afterward attended the University of Detroit and Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She majored in English and earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Oakland. After teaching secondary English in Michigan for several years, she left education to write full-time. Her first published novel was Darkness at Foxglove Corners, originally published by Five Star. Dorothy began writing stories at an early age, tearing blank pages from her children's books when paper was scarce, a practice she now regrets as it left her with several incomplete stories. Her first story was about a collie. While teaching, she wrote a Gothic novel set in Colorado Territory and published by Wings ePress as Treasure at Trail's End. Collies appear in most of Dorothy's books, and for most of her life she has had a collie by her side. Wolf Manor Kinder Brightstar, a dark sable, will be pictured on the cover of a not-yet-released book titled The Deadly Fields of Autumn.
