Donna's unique experience has taken her career into several different directions.TV reporting and writing: Donna has been a parenting/family/education reporter for over ten years. She was a parenting correspondent for NBC's CA Live, FOX 11 in Los Angeles and HLN's Raising America with Kyra Phillips. She worked as a parenting contributor for The Insider, Access Live, and Home & Family TV. Donna has been a general assignment reporter working in L.A. for CNN, KCBS-TV, and KNBC-TV. She has covered major news events throughout her career. Donna also worked as an education reporter for KCBS-TV, using her expertise as a former L.A.U.S.D teacher. Education Work: Donna has been a guest blogger for Harvard University's Graduate School of Education's Making Caring Common Project. Donna worked as an elementary school teacher for L.A.U.S.D., in East L.A. She taught kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 5th grades. She has also taught journalism classes at U.C.L.A. Extension. One of her favorite courses is The Art of the Interview. Donna lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Andrew, and their two teen sons.
