“What God does in time, He planned from eternity. And all that He planned in eternity He carries out in time…” - J.I. Packer Denise L. Carlton was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended several colleges and universities in the state and attained degrees in Mental Health, Social Work and Christian education. In January 2020, Denise relocated to Florida, where she now lives at her home in Lakeland. Denise’s working life has centered mainly around being a supervisor at Holcomb’s Educational Resources for 20 years. She is also the author of The Master Plan: Preparing for Eternity, a book that aims to illustrate what God’s plan is and how we play a unique part in it. It was never her aim to write the book, but in answering a call from God she was inspired and led by Him to complete it. It seeks to explain how we can live with eternity in mind, to allow us to use this time we live here on earth as a dress rehearsal. When she has time to spare, Denise enjoys reading, walking and photographing nature. She is a lifelong learner, loves to study and discover new things and enjoys participating in intimate conversations, whether they are one on one or in small groups. In addition to her interests, she also has her own ministry, The Butterfly Effect, and through it she mentors women, helping them to become as healthy and whole as possible. In the future Denise would like to travel the world and experience all the joy it provides. But it is her greatest desire to live the eternity-minded life that she wrote about and help others to do likewise. You can contact Denise L.
