She is a Radio Talk Show Host in the Salem Network, Podcaster and President of her own Executive Speech Coaching Co., which trains women and men for success in speaking, crisis communications, presentation skills, media, and message development in the U.S. and abroad. Deb is the CEO of Executive Speech Coaching, a private speech coaching company with decades of experience helping clients become effective, powerful communicators with a polished message for success in every medium. As a former advertising agency owner, Sofield blends visual and verbal messaging that wins at every level. She prepares and guides elected officials, candidates and senior leadership by working one-on-one to build their skills and refine their personal speaking style and public persona for success in speeches, debates, media interviews, webcasts, radio, public panels and TED Talks. She tailors training to the event and to the audience by on-camera practice, mock interviews and debate rehearsals. Deb believes that to be successful in today’s twitter-infused marketplace, you must know how to craft your message, be able to articulate your vision, understand your audience and learn how to master the microphone, lectern and stage. She is a visiting professor, teaching public speaking at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and on the faculty of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University, where she is past president of the board. For years she has worked with the International Republican Institute and served on the board for the Women’s Democracy Network. She teaches Communications and Media Training for Civil Society around the world and has served as a mentor and trainer for the Center for Liberty in the Middle East.
