Deanna Kent & Neil Hooson are an award-nominated Canadian author-illustrator team known for creating bold, funny, and visually dynamic stories for young readers. They are the creators of three beloved book series — Snazzy Cat Capers, Glam Prix Racers, and Marshmallow Martians — which blend humour, mystery, friendship, and inventive world-building. Their newest project, Weevil Geniuses, appears monthly in Chickadee magazine and is expanding into a three-book graphic novel series with OwlKids Books. They are also developing a cozy, kawaii-inspired Bao Wows graphic novel series for Scholastic. As longtime collaborators in publishing, animation, and game design, Deanna and Neil bring deep storytelling experience and visual imagination to every project.
