Deanna Cochran, Hospice RN, Amazon bestselling author and creator of the original End-of-Life Doula Certificate Program, has been serving families since 2000. She also provides end-of-life professional sensitivity training, custom builds innovative doula programs for hospices and healthcare organizations and offers companion services to people facing dying through her Grief CareDoula® program. She is Chair of the End-of-Life Doula Advisory Council within the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and is a founding member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance. Deanna’s intention is to bridge services and care for people using doulas and other new roles within mainstream health and death care, educate about palliative care prior to a terminal diagnosis and bring unity between people interested in reducing suffering at the end of life.
