Hello, I'm David Weller – an educator, learning enthusiast and insatiable coffee drinker. I started teaching in 2003, and since then I've been a teacher, trainer, examiner, manager, regional manager and just about everything else it’s possible to be. Along the way, I’ve completed the Trinity DipTESOL and a Master's degree in TESOL. I think it's fair to say that I'm going to be in education for life. I started writing about teaching and learning in 2013, at barefootTEFLteacher.com. It was partly to organise my own thoughts and partly to help others. I write for my past self – lessons I’ve learned that would have helped me in my teaching journey. As the newsletter has grown in popularity, I've had teachers ask me to condense and create books out of the most useful content. Since then, I’ve written five teaching books, all of which are for sale on Amazon. I hope you find my content useful!
