David W Walker
David W. Walker lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi with his wife Kim. He and his brother Lee are proprietors of Partnership for Learning LLC bringing science field-trips to schools across the state. David taught in public schools for 28 years and also served as consultant/staff person for learning adventure camps at the Interaction Factory hands-on museum. He is co-manager of a monthly coffeehouse for writers and musicians “The Back Door” and competes in historic sports car racing with a vintage MG. His writing interests cover a variety of genres from historical fiction to mystery and children’s fantasy. He counts C.S. Lewis, Earnest Hemingway, John LeCarre and J.R.R. Tolkien as the most influential writers in his pantheon. He has two adult children, Robin and Sam. While David has written fiction for literary magazines and published educational materials, The Traitors is his first published Novel. He has now added three mystery books and three wartime books.
