David Parish-Whittaker is a winner of the Writers of the Future contest for emerging talent in speculative fiction. He writes for the Space 1889 Series. His newest release, Leviathans of the Clouds, was co-authored with the award winning novelist Steven Savile. He's previously written tie-in fiction for Rezolution by Aberrant Games, Dragon Assault by Eagle Ridge Games and Europa Universalis by Paradox Development Studio. His short story, "The Seas of Heaven" was part of the Fantasy For Good anthology, raising money for colon cancer research. When not writing, David is a captain for a national airline. In his off time, he likes to read (of course!), play harp, and joust. He lives in Los Angeles County with his 45 lb border collie and 1700 lb horse.
