David Brendan O’Meara is a writer, director, performer, and translator from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His most recent release is Teratología/Teratology, a bilingual edition of his theatrical monologue in verse, published by Manofalsa Editores, of Lima Peru. Dave has presented the book at various literary venues in Peru and Mexico, including the Teatro Municipal in Cusco, the Bilioteca Regional Mario Vargas Llosa in Arequipa, the Complejo Cultural Los Pinos in Mexico City, and La Rueda Libros y Cafe in Guadalajara. Dave also staged a workshop production of Teratología as a theatrical work, in Spanish, at the Centro Cultural Calzada, also in Guadalajara. Other recent projects include My Way to Canossa, a novel (OT!OM!, March 2018); Three Plays for One Actor, a collection of verse monologues (OT!OM! September 2017), and The Death of the Homunculus, (Bandcamp, July 2017), a remix of his experimental podcast, Five by Five. His website, daveomeara.com, also features Crystal Cabinets, a collection of his critical writings in English and Spanish, and the OT!OM! Archives—various projects from Dave’s company, O Tempora! O Mores!
