Dr. Kharrazian's laboratory research while at Harvard Medical School led to the discovery of dietary proteins and chemicals that can induce molecular mimicry with the thyroid gland, thus triggering autoimmunity. He published his scientific research in the Journal of Thyroid Research. He is constantly updating and finding new strategies to help patient's suffering from autoimmune thyroid disease.

Dr. Kharrazian is the author of the best-selling book, Why Isn't My Brain Working? a well-reviewed and an exhaustively referenced book that illustrates Dr. Kharrazian's model for supporting the brain.
