Darcy Michael is an accomplished actor and joyfully neurodivergent comedian. Along with his husband, Jeremy Baer, Darcy entertains millions on his viral social media accounts. Darcy and Jer’s sold-out 2023 comedy tour, No Refunds, has been adapted into a stand-up special and is the subject of the documentary Happily Ever Laughter. In 2024, No Refunds: The Album reached number one on North American comedy charts. Darcy and Jer live on Vancouver Island, Canada, with their golden retriever, Yuma (@yuma.dog). Dominating the comedy scene for over 20 years, Darcy continues to prove his voice is one like no other. Pegged by the Montreal Gazette as one of their favourites at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival, he has gone on to appear there more than 10 times. With 10 nationally televised festival gala appearances, Just for Laughs partnered with Bell Media and Darcy to film their first-ever one-hour stand-up special, Darcy Michael Goes to Church, now streaming on Crave and worldwide through partnerships with Just for Laughs, YouTube, and Facebook Watch. Starring opposite Dave Foley in CTV’s Spun Out for two seasons, Darcy followed that up with his hit album Family Highs, which debuted at #1. An accomplished actor, he has appeared in television shows and films including Legends of Tomorrow, Rapture-Palooza, Lucifer, and The Twilight Zone. A finalist in the national XM Top Comic Competition, Darcy went on to tour with Russell Peters and, after an international search by NBC, was chosen as a finalist for NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity. At some point, he started making videos on the internet—and now he’s lost half his income to this other guy named Jer. That’s when Jer stopped updating this bio.
