Born in Dinslaken in October 1967. I am married, have two children and live in Duisburg. Since my youth I have been writing lyrics, short stories, poems and reports. I worked for a few years in the school newspaper of my high school and for a while I was the editor-in-chief. Only when my children were, as they say, out of the woods, I started writing again. But this time directly with a novel. I wanted to find out whether I was capable of mastering such a great challenge. Fairy tales, sagas and legends have always attracted me magically. Also the history lessons were very exciting for me. That's why some of the things that fascinated me so much back then flow into my work. "Die Tochter des Drachen", the first volume of my "Chronicles of Aranadia", is a pure fantasy novel. "Die Kristallgrotte" was my first attempt to mix historical with fantasy elements. Just the research for it was a lot of fun. In the meantime, I devote myself almost exclusively to this genre. "Trapped in the Valley of Tears" is the first translation of one of my mystical, romantic journeys through time and there will be some more to follow.
