Dana Cerwood, under her pen name, began her writing journey through poetry, initially constructed in the native language, Romanian. The subjects of interest are the phenomena that built a human being, as well as the creation of a metaphor similar to life itself. While writing the first volume, “On Your Own Two Feet”, a personal adventure emerged, as a young person out of high school, unsure about the technical career that prevailed due to her previous subjects of study. After stumbling in and out of creative chaos, and unfulfilled personal ideas of innovation, writing poetry (together with other artistic pursuits) was the cure of making sense of the world again and recreating a clearer path towards authenticity and discipline. At the moment, Dana graduated in life-sciences-related subjects with both an undergraduate and a master’s from the UK. Although the basis of her style was set before her educational background, a desire to express more “raw ideas” remained, and potential new pieces of writing will eventually emerge. A thing is for certain, once diving into the writer’s shoes, it is hard to take them off.
